Unfortunately, this looks (and smells) much better than it tastes. Initially it's not so bad...but it has quite a nasty bitter aftertaste.

Okay, so she's not actually cooking in these photos, but I loved her fascination with the cookbook as she leafed through it.
We didn't have the lights in the office on, since there was plenty of daylight from the windows. When I stepped out of the office into the larger area beyond (which also had the lights off), I saw the multiple shadows (caused by bright reflections from several car windshields in the parking lot outside) and liked the look. I'm not sure why the wall looks so unevenly lit in the middle, however; it's not the result of bad dodging and burning!
Vacant office space in the building I work in. I wonder when they'll finish work on it and someone will move in?
I took this as a storm was approaching; the flag was still brightly lit while the mountains behind it were in shadow from the clouds.
I made these (and many more!) for a friend; the most fun part was the frosting, which was made with strawberry jelly (hence the faint pink tint).
Apparently I've been making Hazel look like a very solemn child. Since that is decidedly not the case, here's one of her smiling!
Interestingly textured bark on a tree I occasionally walk by. (This one is really better bigger, by the way, if you don't mind clicking through to Flickr. Or you're welcome to check the original out sometime.)
